POLICE

* Westminster: A resident of Herbert Avenue told city police her auto was scratched Tuesday while it was parked at Westminster Motors. She estimated the damage at $400.

A resident of Chase Street told city police the glove compartment of her car was forced open while it was parked on the 140 Village Shopping Center lot Monday. She could not estimate the damage.

A resident of Windyhill Drive told city police a lock was destroyed and the door to his apartment was damaged May 11 in an apparent attempt to gain entry. He estimated the damage at $200.

An official of Aspen Homes of Hampstead told state police someone stole construction equipment Tuesday from a house being built on Kate Wagner Road. The loss was estimated at $7,550.

FIRE

* Westminster: Westminster investigated a fire alarm sounding in a building on Kriders Church Road at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 30 minutes.

Westminster responded to clean up after an accident in the 400 block of N. Center St. at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 15 minutes.
