SEX ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who forced a woman into her house in the 700 block of Cumberland St. Monday at gunpoint and sexually assaulted her.

CARJACKING: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of W. North Ave. was stopped at a traffic light near her home Monday when a man forced his way into her car and ordered her to drive off while threatening her with a hard object. The man jumped out of the car at Mount and Presbury streets and escaped.

THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who entered a room at Bon Secours Hospital in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. overnight Monday and stole a fax machine valued at nearly $400.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- A black 2-door 1990 Infinity with Maryland tags AYJ 750 was stolen Monday from the 2500 block of Winchester St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 800 block of N. Carey St. Monday and stole a leather coat, a VCR, jewelry and $25 in coins.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of Druid Hill Ave. overnight Monday and stole a drill and several cans of paint.

STOLEN VAN: Western District -- A white 1987 Chevrolet van with Maryland tags 108384M was stolen from the 1100 block of Whitmore Ave. Monday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered Baltimore Project in the 1600 block of N. Carey St. over the weekend and stole four telephones.

THEFT TRY: Western District -- Someone attempted to steal a 1986 Pontiac with Maryland tags STD 745 from the 900 block of N. Carrollton Ave. by breaking the steering column.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A 13-inch color TV and $65 were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of Presstman St. Monday by someone who entered through a window.

THEFT: Western District -- Police were seeking a man in his 20s who entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Laurens St. over the weekend and stole $900 from the victim's pants pockets.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1992 Mazda with Maryland tags 462426M was stolen from the 5200 block of Roland Ave. Monday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1988 Acura with Florida tags JGK79E from the 500 block of W. University Parkway between May 13 and Monday.

STOLEN CAR: Southwestern District -- A 1994 Dodge with Maryland tags BDX 895 was stolen from the 400 block of Airy Hill Road on Monday.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2600 block of Dulaney St. Monday and stole $100.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one from the 4000 block of Park Heights Ave. and the other from the 2800 block of Boarman Ave., were in the 4200 block of Reisterstown Road Sunday when they were attacked by two men who robbed them of a combined $25.

ASSAULT: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who threatened to shoot a resident of the 5200 block of St. Charles Ave. at the victim's home Sunday.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested a man who cut a woman with a knife during an incident at her home in the 4700 block of Reisterstown Road Sunday. The woman was not seriously injured.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered Baltimore Podiatry in the 2300 block of Garrison Boulevard over the weekend and stole cash, five telephones, two radios, a microwave and a calculator, all valued at more than $300.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who entered the office of the Dunkin Donuts shop in the 7000 block of Reisterstown Road Monday and stole $100.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A driver for County Cab Co. in the first block of Bloomsbury Ave. in Catonsville was in the 5100 block of Beaufort Ave. Monday afternoon when a teen-age boy with a handgun robbed him of nearly $70.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1993 Chrysler with Maryland tags AKG 970 was stolen from the 5100 block of Lanier Ave. Sunday.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Someone stole a 1986 Chrysler with Maryland tags NCP 381 from the 5300 block of York Road Sunday.

THEFT: Northern District -- A bike valued at more than $100 was stolen from a house in the 4100 block of Greenspring Ave. Sunday.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Someone entered a home in the 2000 block of Linden Ave. through a bedroom window Monday and stole a TV and VCR, all valued at $800.

Baltimore County

SHOOTING: North Point Precinct -- An unidentified man was shot outside the Village Food Mart in the 500 block of N. Avondale Road at Turners Station Monday night. The victim was flown by State Police MedEvac helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in serious condition. The suspect, a black male in his 30s, armed with a handgun, escaped. Police knew of no motive for the shooting.

STOLEN TRUCK: Parkville Precinct -- A 1992 Ford Ranger pickup truck with Maryland tags 956697 was in for repairs at Bob Davidson Ford in the 1800 block of E. Joppa Road over the weekend when someone stole it.
