6 Catholic churches may close

Shortages of money and priests are forcing the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Baltimore to consider closing as many as six urban churches by the end of the year.

4St. Ann. Greenmount Ave. and 22nd St. Founded 1873.

St. Stanislaus Kostka. 700 S. Ann St. Founded 1879.

St. Cecilia. Windsor Ave. and Hilton St. Founded 1902.

Our Lady of Lourdes. Liberty Heights Ave. and Edgewood Rd. Founded 1925.

Holy Redeemer. 800 S. Oldham St. Founded 1944.

Gerard. Charlotte and Cardiff Avenues. Founded 1944.
