Northeast Louisiana -- Announced the resignation of Janie Fincher Roland, women's assistant basketball coach.

Northwestern, Iowa -- Announced the resignation of Mike Meyer, women's basketball coach. Named Earl Woudstra women's basketball coach.

St. Mary's -- Sean Keehan (Calvert Hall, men's basketball, 3.962 grade-point average) was named Male Academic Athlete of the Year. Leigh Kessler (Glenelg, women's volleyball, 3.714 GPA) was named Female Academic Athlete of the Year.

Southwest Texas -- Announced that Keevan Mills has been dismissed from the track and field team for violating team rules relating to player conduct.

Vanderbilt -- Announced the resignation of Robert C. Vowels, who handled NCAA and Southeastern Conference regulations, to become assistant commissioner for the Big Ten Conference.
