READING, Pa. -- Bowie scored four runs on Reading errors as the Baysox defeated the Phillies, 7-4, yesterday in a Double-A Eastern League game.

The Baysox are 4-0 against the Phillies this year, and 10-1 against Southern Division teams. Bowie also ended a two-game losing streak, and remains in a first-place tie with the Harrisburg Senators in the Southern Division.

Bowie scored two unearned runs in the fifth to come back from a one-run deficit. Curtis Goodwin scored the go-ahead run on a fielding error.

Scott McClain had two RBIs and his eighth inning double was only the second extra-base hit on Bowie's road trip.

Vaughn Eshelman (3-1) recorded the win, and Armando Benitez saved his fifth game.
