RAPE/ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who raped a resident of the 1400 block of Limit Ave. in her apartment Tuesday and then stole her 1993 Geo Storm with Maryland tags BHA 774. After entering the apartment, the man threw the woman onto the floor, tied her hands with rope, covered her face with a blanket and then raped her.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- An out-of-town resident was leaving an all-night convenience store in the 2900 block of Barclay St. Tuesday when he was accosted by three men in a dark Toyota as he entered his car. In the 3400 block of Greenmount Ave., the victim was cut off by the three men who exited their vehicle and assaulted him.

CUTTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Halcyon Ave. was in the 2600 block of McCulloh St. Monday when a man attacked him with a knife and cut him on the side. The victim was listed in critical but stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

RAPE: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who raped a woman at knifepoint inside a house in the 800 block of Spedden St. Tuesday.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Woodington Road was walking near his home Monday when he was knocked to the pavement by a man who robbed him of $5.

Baltimore County

THEFT/ARRESTS: Parkville District -- Police arrested two men and charged them each with stealing a woman's purse as she walked across the parking lot of the Perring Plaza Shopping Center in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road Tuesday. Following the theft, a witness jotted down the license number of a car seen speeding away and occupied by two men. The car was stopped a short distance away and the men arrested without incident. The woman's purse was recovered. Charged with theft and held in lieu of $10,000 bail is Richard Slaymaker, 31, of the 1600 block of Yakona Road. Also charged with theft and held in lieu of $7,000 bond is Harold Crews, 40, of the 8400 block of Kingsridge Road.
