Unbeaten Hopkins romps, 19-4

Senior Becca Savage scored six goals to lead host Johns Hopkins (14-0) past Widener, 19-4, in a women's lacrosse game yesterday. Savage (Centennial) has scored a team-high 62 goals this year.

Sophomore Francine Brennan added four goals and one assist. Freshman Jesse Meiller (Notre Dame Prep) added one goal and two assists. Lisa Hensley had eight saves for the Blue Jays.

W. Md. 24, Susquehanna 5

Gina Cappi and Denise Sarver (Fallston) scored six goals each as Western Maryland (11-2) beat visiting Susquehanna (0-7) in a non-conference game.

Senior midfielder Cappi also had four assists for her second 10-point effort in the past three games.

Anne Arundel 19, Villa Julie 4

Kristy Moltz and Robin Quinton each contributed three goals and three assists as Anne Arundel Community College (9-2) topped host Villa Julie.
