Major League Baseball Properties -- Announced that Frank Simio, vice president of finance and administration, has resigned to become the vice president for the National Baseball Hall of Fame effective Aug. 15.

Minnesota Twins -- Released P Jeff Innis from Triple-A Salt Lake City.

Philadelphia Phillies -- Assigned P Roger Mason to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after he cleared waivers.

Texas Rangers -- Assigned OF Rob Ducey to Triple-A Oklahoma City after he cleared waivers.

Pittsburgh Pirates -- Released Triple-A Buffalo OF Mike Simms and replaced him with OF Darren Reed from the DL.

Clemson -- Announced the signing of basketball F Iker Iturbe.
