Fort Smallwood traffic faces construction

Traffic on a portion of Fort Smallwood Road will be squeezed to a single lane in off-peak hours early next month as construction crews install a drainage system.

The $130,000 project will provide a closed system on Fort Smallwood Road near Elizabeth Road to help drain water rapidly and enhance safety.

Traffic on Elizabeth Road will not be affected.

The work, by S.S.C. Corp. of Pasadena, is expected to be completed by the end of May.
