* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two 17-year-old girls, one from the 6000 block of Framingham Road and the other from the 5200 block of Saybrook Road, were in the 5100 block of Denview Way Tuesday when a gunman robbed them of jewelry valued at more than $600.

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into a house in the 2500 block of Cecil Ave. through a rear door Tuesday and stole cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $1,600.

* THEFTS: Northeastern District -- Someone broke into at least seven late-model Chevrolets owned by Koons Chevrolet in the 5900 block of Belair Road while they were parked in the 4300 block of Chesmont Ave. between Saturday and Monday and stole radios valued at $2,000.

* THEFT: Western District -- Someone stole several bottles of a night-time cold remedy valued at more than $30 from the Farm Fresh store at Mondawmin Mall Tuesday.

* ROBBERY: Western District -- Two residents of the 500 block of N. Pulaski St. were walking in the 2000 block of Edmondson Ave. Tuesday when a man armed with what appeared to be a handgun robbed them of cash and property, all valued at more than $200. Later, police arrested a suspect in the case and recovered a toy gun.

* ASSAULT: Western District -- Police were seeking a 42-year-old man who struck a female resident of the 1900 block of Woodbrook Ave. with a handsaw during an incident at her home Tuesday and broke her left arm. The victim was treated at an area hospital.

* THEFT: Western District -- Two women entered Lerner's, a clothing store at Mondawmin Mall, on Monday and stole clothing valued at more than $200. They were arrested a short time later.


* ROBBERY: Parkville Precinct -- A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the High's dairy store in the Satyr Hill Shopping Center, located in the 8700 block of Satyr Hill Road, of an undisclosed sum Tuesday night. The man placed a soda on the counter and after the clerk opened the cash register, the man implied he had a gun in his waistband and ordered her to give him the money. He fled on foot.

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone broke into a house under construction in the 13000 block of Bottom Road Monday or Tuesday and stole hand and power tools valued at nearly $700.

* BURGLARY: Woodlawn District -- More than a dozen cases of cookies, valued at nearly $500, were stolen from a storage shed in the 1700 block of Belmont Ave. Monday or Tuesday.
