Suspect, 20, identified in break-in case

April 20, 1994

County police identified a breaking and entering suspect yesterday who they said eluded authorities Monday afternoon, despite a search by county police dogs and a police helicopter.

Police say Kyle Rushon Logan, 20, of the 10500 block of Faulkner Ridge Road is wanted in connection with a break-in in the 12100 block of Red Stream Way in Harper's Choice about 11 a.m. Monday. Neighbors phoned in reports of the crime in progress.

When officers responded, a man was seen jumping out of the rear window of a home and running away, police said.

A gold necklace was taken from the home.

Police say Mr. Logan also is wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with a break-in at the Wilde Lake Tennis Club March 30. He is accused of ransacking offices there and taking computer equipment.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts should call Howard police at the Southern District, 313-3700.
