BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A television, videocassette recorder and cash with a total value of $1,150 were taken from a home in the 1300 block of Cedarcroft Road between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 11:55 a.m. yesterday.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A woman living in the 1800 block of E. Madison St., was beaten and robbed of $300 by two men who broke in through her basement window around 2:30 a.m. Sunday and assaulted her in her bedroom.

ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Eastern District -- A couple was assaulted and robbed of $111 late Saturday in the 1600 block of E. Eager St. by two men, one of whom had a handgun.

CARJACKING: Eastern District -- A 20-year-old woman stopped at a stop sign in the 2500 block of Ashland Ave. at 3 a.m. Saturday was pulled from her 1987 black Nissan 300 2X by a man who then stole the car.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman stole $31 from a woman in the 3100 block of Abell Ave. about 10 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man with a handgun entered a restaurant in the 5200 block of York Road and demanded money. An employee went to the rear of the restaurant to get an off-duty police officer, and the suspect fled -- but managed to steal a gold chain worth $300 from a customer who was leaving at the same time.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered a restaurant at Reisterstown Road and Cold Spring Lane at 1:30 p.m. yesterday and demanded money from a cashier. She refused to give it to them, and the would-be bandits fled in a vehicle that was believed to be stolen, police said.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Lanvale St. yesterday morning and stole a 30-inch Magnavox TV and VCR valued at $1,000.

ARSON: Northwestern District -- A flammable liquid was used to set fire to a basement door of an apartment building in the 2500 block of W. Belvedere Ave. about 3 a.m. yesterday. Two apartments were damaged.

Baltimore County

SHOOTING: Essex Precinct -- A Middle River man handed over, at gunpoint, $40 that he reportedly owed to four youths -- then was shot by one of them. Keith H. Warner, 21, of the first block of Leftwing Drive, was listed in fair condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after the shooting early yesterday in the 700 block of Northrop Lane.
