1. Pulte Homes is continuing its grand opening of two three-level townhouse models from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Parkview Crossing in Baltimore County, where the company will build 133 houses.

The Bentley model has 1,320 square feet of finished space and a starting price of $105,990. The first floor has an entry foyer, 12-by-18-foot living room, powder room and 19-by-13 country kitchen with work island and pantry.

Upstairs, there is a 13-by-13-foot master bedroom, two additional bedrooms a full bath and a linen closet. A master bath can be added for $2,500. The laundry area is located in the unfinished basement, which can be enhanced with marble fireplace ($3,975), family room ($3,850) and full bath ($2,500). The Carroll also sells for $105,990. It has 1,340 square feet. The entry level has a foyer, 18-by-12-foot living room, 13-by-9-foot dining room, powder room and 15-by-12-foot kitchen with pantry.

The second floor contains a 13-by-13-foot master bedroom, two more bedrooms a full bath and a linen closet. The unfinished basement has a laundry hookup.

Either house can have a half brick front for $900.

The models are open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Take I-695 to Security Boulevard West to a left on Rolling Road, a right on Fairbrook to the sales center on the left.

2. Mount Bay Homes has begun pre-construction sales at Peachtree in Odenton, where the company will offer four models on its 30 single-family lots.

Located next to Piney Orchard, Peachtree is the first venture in Anne Arundel County for Mount Bay, which is based in Ellicott City.

One home that can be built at Peachtree is the Ashland, a 2,144-square-foot home with three bedrooms and a base price of $201,650. It can be expanded to four bedrooms for $5,550.

The first floor has a 15-by-14-foot living room, which can have an optional fireplace or bay window, a 15-by-12-foot dining, kitchen, breakfast area, and 15-by-13-foot family room with a 10-by-5-foot nook that can house an optional book shelf. A laundry room and a powder room are options in the alternate floor plan.

Upstairs you find the bedrooms and a full bath. In the four-bedroom version, the Ashland has a 17-by-12-foot master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a bath with dual vanities, soaking tub and separate shower.

Other features include a two-car garage, an unfinished basement, gas heat, ventilated closet shelving and prewiring for telephones and cable television.

The least expensive home offered at Peachtree is the Hanover, which costs $175,950 for a three-bedroom with 1,374 square feet of finished space.

3. Marks, Thomas and Associates Architects has received a contract from the Baltimore Housing Partnership for an affordable elderly housing project, which will be the first to be developed in the Belair Road corridor.

Magda C. Westerhout Jr., a Marks partner, will be project manager for the four-story, 50,200-square-foot project, which will feature 69 one-bedroom units.
