2 adults, child injured in Route 27 collision

April 15, 1994

Three people, including a small child, were taken to Carroll County General Hospital after a two-car collision on Route 27 at Hahn Road in Westminster about 4:15 p.m. yesterday.

Both automobiles were equipped with air bags that inflated and prevented more serious injuries, officials said.

State police said a Plymouth Sundance was on Route 27 north making a left turn on Hahn Road when it was struck on the right side by a Dodge Daytona heading south on Route 27. The Dodge spun around and came to rest facing north.

The child was in a safety seat in the right rear of the Plymouth, where the vehicles collided.

The victims' names and conditions were not available yesterday evening.
