A greener tomorrow available in packets

April 12, 1994

The Howard Soil Conservation District in Ellicott City is offering an assortment of tree and shrub packets for sale to landowners.

Purchase of the packets not only helps local citizens do their part to beautify the community and help conserve soil and water resources, but it also helps fund conservation education activities carried out by the Howard Soil Conservation District.

The plant varieties offered in the packets are selected for their popularity and hardiness in this region and come in two sizes: 15 plants for $15.50 and 25 plants for $19.50.
