Dougherty sparks Friends over Curley

Adam Dougherty scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead visiting Friends (3-2) past Curley, 3-2, in a Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association B Conference boys lacrosse game yesterday.

* Mount St. Joseph 4, McDonogh 3: Matt Hipzer scored three goals, leading No. 6 Mount St. Joseph (4-2).

* Arundel 9, Southern-AA 8: Keith Sharp scored four goals as No. 10 Arundel (5-0) topped visiting Southern-AA (3-2).

* Dulaney 16, Parkville 2: Booth Farewell had four goals and two assists as No. 12 Dulaney downed host Parkville.

* Broadneck 7, Chesapeake-AA 5: Bob Hanna scored three goals and John Lengyel contributed two goals to lead No. 8 Broadneck (3-1).

* Perry Hall 18, Dundalk 1: Midfielder Joe Farinetti scored six goals to lead No. 9 Perry Hall (3-0).

* Poly 9, Southwestern 7: James Wisniewski had four goals and three assists as Poly (4-0) remained undefeated.

* Hereford 17, Owings Mills 1: Drew Parker scored five goals and and three assists and Jamie Bateman had three goals and four assists for Hereford.

* John Carroll 5, Gibbons 2: Tony Coatsolonia scored two of his game-high three goals in the final period, leading visiting John Carroll (2-2) past Gibbons.

* Landon 12, Severn 6: Sophomore attackmen Josh Simms and Peter Jenney each scored twice, but visiting No. 14 Severn (1-8) lost to host Landon.

* Park 12, Spalding 2: Scott Snyder scored six goals, leading Park (3-0)) past host Spalding.

* Glen Burnie 3, Northeast 2: Seth Murphy's goal with four minutes remaining in regulation lifted host Glen Burnie (3-2, 1-1) past Northeast, in an Anne Arundel County 4A League game.

* Eastern Tech 13, Randallstown 3: Marc Cougle and Rodney Hudder and Shane Goldstr each scored two goals to lead Eastern Tech (1-3).

* Patapsco 12, Kenwood 11, OT: Senior attack Tim Dodge broke an 11-11 deadlock by scoring the gamewinner at 1:19 into sudden death as Patapsco (1-2) edged Kenwood (2-2). Dodge (( finished with five goals.

Senior attackmen Paul Dziewanowski and Josh Pingel each added a hat trick for the Patriots.

* Havre de Grace 11, Harford Tech 1: Sean McCone scored three goals to lead host Havre de Grace.

* Lansdowne 13, Woodlawn 7: Jason Lins scored six goals and had one assist to lead Lansdowne (2-0) over Woodlawn (0-3) in a Baltimore County 3A-4A game. Rod Daly scored five goals and two assists.

* South Carroll 11, Liberty 6: Tom Luster scored three goals and had two assist and John Eaton and Greg Blair each had two goals to help South Carroll (1-2) defeat host Liberty.

* Howard 12, Seneca Valley 3: Senior attackman Karl Krantz scored four goals to lead host Howard (3-2) past Seneca Valley (1-2).

* Meade 7, Old Mill 6: D.J. Knott and David Hitaffer each scored three goals, leading host Meade (4-1, 1-1) past Old Mill.
