ASSAULT/ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man armed with a shotgun pointed it at another man in the 3100 block of Howard Park Ave. at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday. Nothing was taken.

RAPE: Northwestern District -- A woman was grabbed by a man who put his hand over her mouth and pulled her over to a grassy area and raped her in the 3900 block of Garrison Blvd. at 4:30 a.m. Monday.

ATTEMPTED ASSAULT/ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men pushed a woman in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Rd. shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday and attempted to take her purse.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: North Point District -- A man grabbed the wrist of a cashier in a Quick Stop store in the 700 block of North Point Blvd. and snatched an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police said the robber is a white male, 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and wearing black clothes with a black motorcycle helmet. He fled on a motorcycle.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn District -- Two muggers robbed a man of his bike as he rode it on Rolling Road near Windsor Mill Road at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: North Point District -- A man handed a teller at the Provident Savings Bank on Shipping Place a note demanding nTC money about 9:50 a.m. Wednesday. The thief put the money and the note in his jacket and then fled. Police are looking for a black male, 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds who was wearing a black baseball cap and black pants.

AUTO THEFT: Towson District -- A black 1990 Chevy Cavalier convertible with Maryland tags SRY-156 was stolen from the 1000 block of Taylor Ave. sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. Wednesday.

AUTO THEFT: Cockeysville District -- A red and black 1992 Chevy Blazer truck with Maryland tags UB00313 was stolen from the 100 block of W. Timonium Road sometime between 8:15 p.m. and 8:55 p.m. Wednesday.
