NBA -- Suspended Carl Herrera of the Houston Rockets and Olden Polynice of the Sacramento Kings for one game and fined them $5,000 each for their actions during Tuesday night's game; fined Vernon Maxwell of Houston $10,000 for failing to leave the court in a timely manner, berating officials and throwing objects following his ejection.

USA Basketball -- Named Orlando Magic C Shaquille O'Neal and Indiana Pacers G Reggie Miller as the final two players to the United States team that will compete in this summer's World Championships.
