Pair sought in robbery at Arnold bank

A man who said he had a gun robbed an Arnold bank yesterday afternoon, county police said.

Investigators said the man walked into the Farmer's National Bank branch in the first block of Arnold Road at 1:17 p.m., gave a bag to the teller and demanded money.

The teller gave him the money, and the man ran out of the bank.

A witness told police that he saw the man run behind the Arnold fire station and climb into the back of a light green older-model four-door sedan driven by another man. The car was last seen speeding south on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. police

The robber was described as a white man in his early 30s, 6 feet tall with a thin build. He wore a rose-colored jacket, dark jeans and a dark knit ski hat. He was missing a front tooth and had a tattoo on his neck. The driver of the car was a black man in his mid-40s with a heavy build and a mustache.
