Woman's wallet stolen at Havre de Grace store

A Port Deposit woman told police that someone stole her wallet containing $350 from her purse while she was at a Havre de Grace supermarket Tuesday about 4 p.m.

The woman was waiting in the checkout line at the Acme Market in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway when she discovered she had been robbed.

L The investigation is continuing, Havre de Grace police said.

Group offers reward for arrests in robbery

Harford County Crime Solvers is offering a reward up to $1,000 for the arrest and indictment of three men who struck a Joppa resident in the shins and face and took his wallet, which contained three $50 bills, at 9 p.m. March 19.

Thieves steal fixtures from construction office

An employee of Bob Ward Homes told Havre de Grace police that someone broke into the company's construction office in the 100 block of Baylands Drive Sunday orMonday and stole seven entry door lanterns and four hanging brass light fixtures and damaged their mountings.


The loss and damage were estimated at $810, police said.

Four juveniles charged with theft, destruction

Sheriff's deputies arrested four juveniles in three incidents March 18, charging three with theft under $300 and one with malicious destruction.

The youths were released to their parents' custody, pending further action by Juvenile Services.

In Edgewood, a 14-year-old and a 10-year-old were taken into custody at a residence on Jamestown Court and charged with theft.

Stolen items were valued at $180, police said.

In Havre de Grace, a 13-year-old was charged with stealing jewelry, shoes and cosmetics from the Ames Store in the 2000 block of Pulaski Highway.

The items were valued at $52.50, police said.

In Bel Air, a 16-year-old was charged with malicious destruction at a residence in the 400 block of Darby Lane. The damage was estimated at $75, police said.


* 1400 block of Valleystream Road: Someone destroyed a mailbox post and stole a gas grill from a residence March 15. The loss and damage were estimated at $215.

* 45 W. Gordon St.: Someone broke into a Board of Education vehicle and stole a cellular telephone March 20. The loss and damage were estimated at $300, police said.


* 1200 block of Chipper Drive: Someone entered two vehicles parked outside a residence and stole sunglasses, a miter saw box, tape deck and compact discs March 20. The loss was valued at $1,025, police said.


* 2100 block of Folkstone Drive: Someone entered a residence and stole a necklace March 19. The loss was valued at $240, police said.


* 100 block of Orsburn Road: Someone stole money, a revolver, rifles and quilts from a residence March 16. The loss was valued at $2,500, police said.


* 1000 block of Joppa Farm Road: Someone stole a pay telephone from a parking lot March 15. The loss was valued at $3,569.
