Accident experts give testimony on fatal crash

March 25, 1994

Testimony continued yesterday in the trial of a 21-year-old New Windsor man charged with two counts of automobile manslaughter in connection with a 1992 car accident.

More than a half-dozen witnesses took the stand to describe the accident that claimed two lives on Dec. 12, 1992, when trucks driven by defendant James Gregory Martin and Carroll Lynn Schisler Jr. collided on Route 407.

Carroll's brother, Gary Schisler, 25, and Andy Stonesifer, 18, both of New Windsor, were killed.

Most of yesterday's testimony was from accident experts and state troopers.
