Joanne Hillman joins Long & Foster office

Joanne Hillman of Ellicott City has joined Long & Foster Realtors as a sales associate at the firm's Columbia office at 9801 Broken Land Parkway.

Ms. Hillman holds a degree in marketing from Towson State University.

Charles Evans joins BMA office in Columbia

Charles R. Evans has joined BMA's Baltimore area office at 9881 Broken Land Parkway in Columbia.

Mr. Evans has worked for more than 12 years in insurance and brokerage sales, most recently with CNA in Baltimore.

Anna Gable promoted to editor at St. Agnes

Anna M. Gable of Ellicott City was recently promoted to publications editor at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.

Ms. Gable, who was a public relations assistant at the hospital since 1990, previously worked as assistant to the vice president of marketing at Reliable Stores in Columbia.

Terri Buttram named marketing director

Terri L. Buttram has joined Riemer Muegge & Associates in Columbia as director of marketing.

Ms. Buttram will direct new business development with public works, federal, corporate and institutional clients.

David McIlvaine cited as top listing agent

David W. McIlvaine, a real estate agent with ERA Caton Realty in Ellicott City, was recognized as the top listing agent in the Ellicott City office.

He was also cited as the top agent in the number of transactions for last year.

Gretchen Paige named chief of audiology

The Ear, Nose and Throat Specialty Group, with offices in Columbia, Laurel and Glen Burnie, has announced the promotion of Gretchen M. Paige to chief of audiology for the practice.

Ms. Paige performs hearing assessments, balance tests and fittings for hearing aids.

M. Maldonado nominated for Who's Who

Mai Maldonado of Mai's Jewlery in Columbia has been nominated for membership in Who's Who of American Jewelers. Selection is based on experience and superior knowledge of gems and the industry.

Ms. Maldonado has been in the retail jewelry business for more than 16 years and has been recognized for her work as a jewelry contractor for military installations in Italy and Germany.
