STOLEN CAR: Southern District -- Someone stole a blue 1988 Buick with Maryland tags WLB 296 from the 900 block of Hollins St. Monday.

ASSAULT: Southern District -- A woman threatened a male resident of the 1400 block of Ward St. with a steak knife during an incident Monday in the victim's home. The man was not injured.

THEFT: Southern District -- Someone entered a work truck owned by U.S. Elevator while it was parked in the 200 block of Parkin St. Monday and stole tools valued at more than $1,200.

ROBBERY: Southern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3800 block of Fairhaven Ave. of a VCR, cash, TV and a bike, all valued at $1,200, near the victim's home Monday.

ARSON: Central District -- Police were seeking a student who set fire to a poster on a wall bulletin board at the Booker T. Washington Elementary School in the 1300 block of McCulloh St. Monday afternoon. Damage to the poster and wall was set at $50.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Echodale Ave. was near her home Monday when a gunman robbed her of her purse containing cash and property, all of unknown value.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 900 block of Homestead St. of $8 near the victim's home Monday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a home in the 2700 block of Cylburn Ave. through the front door Monday and stole a TV and a VCR, all valued at $500.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered Aaro motor sales in the 1000 block of W. Baltimore St. through a door over the weekend and stole a battery charger and tools, all valued at nearly $150.

CARJACKING: Western District -- A resident of the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Ave. was in the 1500 block of W. Lanvale St. Sunday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his 1988 Buick with Maryland tags VYC 005.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Polcie were seeking a couple who robbed a resident of the 900 block of Bennett Place of $100 and several movie and cassette tapes, all valued at $400, after assaulting him when he answered his door Sunday.

STOLEN CAR: Western District -- An Oldsmobile with Maryland rental tags 43825 and owned by Avis car rentals in the 300 block of W. Baltimore St. was stolen Monday from the 900 block of Claymont Ave.

STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1987 Hyundai with Maryland tags ZTS 096 was stolen from the 1600 block of Lochwood Road between Friday and Sunday.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2700 block of Harford Road was near his home Monday when two men, one with a handgun, exited a car and robbed him of $35 and a ring, all valued at more than $200, before driving away.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2200 block of Pentland Road was offering a man a ride in the 5600 block of Reisterstown Road Monday when the man pulled out a gun and robbed the motorist of $20.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A 75-year-old resident of the 2500 block of Smith Ave. was walking in the 3900 block of Bancroft Road Monday when two men knocked her to the ground and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $100.

Baltimore County

ROBBERY: White Marsh District -- A man who implied he was armed robbed Frederick's of Hollywood in the Golden Ring Mall Monday and escaped with more than $100. After telling a clerk that he wanted to buy something for his daughter, the man gave an employee a note saying he was armed and that he wanted money. After the employee gave the man money from the cash register, he ordered the employee into a rear room and escaped.
