Towson beats Penn behind Quinn's 7 goals

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Junior attackman David Quinn led all scorers with seven goals as Towson State (3-0) downed Penn State, 15-13, yesterday.

Quinn added two assists to his totals. Pete Makeover and Rob Warren led Penn State (1-3) with a hat trick each.

Towson State broke open a 3-3 first-quarter tie by going on a 4-1 second-quarter run. The Tigers outshot the Lions, 41-34.

Towson State goalie Brian Whalen made 10 saves, two more than Penn State's Jason Johnson.
