75 officers arrest 26 in coordinated drive to serve 350 warrants in county

Police are calling the attempt to serve 350 warrants Wednesday evening the largest such operation in Harford County.

"It was the biggest in terms of the number of warrants and the number of arrests made," said Deputy 1st Class DeWayne Curry of the Sheriff's Office, which coordinated the operation.

Twenty-six arrests were made by 75 federal, state, county and municipal law enforcement agents.

Arrested were:

* Matthew Joseph Kotapski, 21, of the 200 block of E. MacPhail Road in Bel Air, charged with distributing drugs and released after posting a $15,000 bond.

* William James Holden, 57, of the first block of E. Bel Air Ave., Aberdeen, accused of failing to appear on a charge of disorderly conduct in a public place. He was released after posting a $500 bond.

* Phillip Dean Turner, 26, of the 400 block of Dembytown Road, Joppa, charged with violating probation and held at the Detention Center in lieu of $1,000 bail.

* Daniel Miller Taylor, 22, of the 4000 block of Federal Hill Road, Jarrettsville, charged with violating probation and released after posting a $500 bond.

* Mary A. Brown, 42, of the 400 block of Edmund St., Aberdeen, charged with contempt in a civil case and released after posting a $2,500 bond.

* Carl Melvin House Jr., 32, of the 100 block of Seevue Court, Bel Air, charged with violating probation and released to Baltimore County police.

* Anthony Lyle Brown, 32, of the 1500 block of Mitchell Lane, Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and held without bond.

* Michael J. Sulewski, 35, of the 1300 block of Acorn Ridge Court, Edgewood, accused of failing to appear on a battery charge and held without bond.

* Ernest Levine Hawkins, 29, of the 500 block of Girard St., Havre de Grace, charged with distributing drugs and held in lieu of $30,000 bail.

* Eva Mae Williams, 48, of the 600 block of Freedom Lane, Havre de Grace, charged on two counts of distribution, two counts of possession with intent to distribute and two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and as well as possession and conspiracy to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. She was held in lieu of $25,000 bail.

* Christopher J. Dugent, 18, of the 800 block of Williamsburg Court, Edgewood, charged with battery and malicious destruction and released on his own recognizance.

* Lionel A. Bowser, 34, of the first block of W. Lee St., Bel Air, charged with violating probation and released after posting a $150 bond.

* John Patrick Meller, 23, of the 24000 block of Conowingo Road, Bel Air, accused of failing to appear on a charge of driving while his license was suspended and held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

* Charles Anthony Edwards, 27, of the 300 block of Oxford Ave., Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and held in lieu of $450 bail.

* Andre Romel Manning, 36, of the 300 block of Walker St., Aberdeen, accused of failing to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended license and held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

* Delmer Darrell Hamm, 53, of the 700 block of Earlton Road, Havre de Grace, accused of failing to appear on a charge of driving with a suspended license and released after posting a $250 bond.

* Matthew Cullem Hare, 24, of the 1400 block of Harford Square Drive, Edgewood, accused of failing to appear on a nonsupport charge and held in lieu of $5,000 bail.

* Mark Anthony Perkins, 32, of the 300 block of Stevens Circle, Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and released after posting a $375 bond.

* Albert W. Brown, 30, of the first block of Copurt Drive, Edgewood, charged with violating probation and released to the Baltimore Police Department.

* Erin Lynn Wolfgram, 20, of the 400 block of Ruby Drive, Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and held without bond.

* Keith William Privette, 32, of the 3100 block of Old Scarboro Road, Street, accused of failing to appear on a drug possession charge and held in lieu of $10,000 bail.

* David Eason, 23, of the first block of E. Bel Air Ave., Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and released after posting a $150 bond.

* Stanford Eugene Smith, 23, of the 500 block of Crownwood Court, Edgewood, arrested on a federal warrant accusing him of failing to appear on a charge of sport fishing without a license. He was released to military police.

* Walter Ross Hagen, 46, of the 400 block of Shucks Road, Bel Air, charged with violating probation and held without bond.

* Robert James Clark, 38, of the 1000 block of Warwick Drive, Aberdeen, charged with violating probation and held without bond.

* Melissa Diane Tramell, 23, of the 2400 block of Conowingo Road, Bel Air, charged with hindering an investigation and giving a false statement to a police officer. She was released on her own recognizance.
