ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman stopped a resident of the 6900 block of Chambers Road near his home Wednesday and robbed him of more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 5900 block of Falkirk Road through a basement window Thursday and stole stereo equipment valued at nearly $1,500.

ROBBERY: Western District -- A resident of the 800 block of N. Appleton St. was in the 1900 block of W. Lafayette Ave. Thursday when a man robbed her of $16.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men robbed a resident of the 3400 block of Woodstock Ave. of $260 and gold jewelry, all valued at nearly $2,000, in the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3900 block of Penhurst Ave. of $2 in the 1400 block of Mulberry St. Thursday.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 1500 block of W. Lexington St. Thursday and stole a TV, cassette player, video game, postage meter, credit cards and other items, all valued at more than $2,00.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police responding to a burglary in the 600 block of N. Fremont Ave. arrested a man before he could escape with a VCR and a 19-inch TV.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Southern District -- Police arrested a man and charged him with entering Eesco Pump & Valves in the 600 block of Brice St. Thursday through a hole in the wall and stealing tools valued at nearly $500. The tools were recovered. Charged with burglary and awaiting a bail hearing is Wayne Fish, 28, of the 600 block of S. Payson St.

STOLEN CAR: Southern District -- A 1984 Chrysler with Maryland handicap tags 19981 was stolen from the 1100 block of Washington Boulevard Thursday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- An employee of CTI Publications in the 2600 block of Maryland Ave. was returning to the office from a bank Wednesday when two men robbed him of nearly $600.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who fired a gun at three women during an incident in the 2600 block of Boone St. Thursday. None of the women, two from the Boone Street address and one from the 400 block of E. 28th St., were injured.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- A man was arrested Thursday fleeing the Stadium Deli in the 3300 block of Greenmount Ave. by police responding to a burglar alarm. The man entered the business by breaking a window with a rock.

Baltimore County

THEFT/ARRESTS: North Point Precinct -- Police arrested three men Thursday and charged them with stealing two vending machines from Flietti's restaurant in the 1100 block of Merritt Boulevard. The machines were valued at $125 each. Released on their own recognizance were Dennis G. Trace, 28, of the 7500 block of Ives La.; Daniel Meritt, 38, of the 1700 block of Trappe Road, and Christopher S. Pasco, 25, of the 6900 block of Bellclaire Road.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a car parked in the 7200 block of Sollers Point Road Thursday and stole telephone equipment valued at $700.

THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Stereo equipment valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a car parked in the first block of Bexleigh Court Wednesday or Thursday. The thief entered the ** vehicle by breaking a window, valued at $200.
