Waste management meeting set on Monday

March 18, 1994

The last public meeting on Anne Arundel County's 10-year Solid Waste Management Plan will be held Monday at Arundel High School in Gambrills.

This meeting was rescheduled after snow forced the cancellation of a meeting March 2.

The solid waste plan deals with how the county will dispose of trash in the next decade, such as choosing between participating in a regional incinerator or building a 500-acre landfill at $1 million an acre.

Anyone who wants to review the three-volume solid waste plan can do so at the Crofton, Severna Park, Annapolis or North County libraries.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium, 1001 Annapolis Road.
