ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2100 block of N. Fulton Ave. was in the 1500 block of Bloomingdale Road Monday when a man robbed him of his wallet and $45.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who shot a resident of the 500 block of Denison St. in the right leg Monday while the victim was walking in the 900 block of Ellicott Drive. The victim was treated at an area hospital.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of N. Charles St. was walking in the 3400 block of N. Charles St. Sunday when a man engaged her in conversation before robbing her of $4.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a 1993 Ford through a side door while it was parked in the 3100 block of Guilford Ave. over the weekend and stole a lug wrench and a large quantity of cassette tapes.

THEFT: Northern District -- An AM-FM cassette stereo, tapes and speakers, all valued at nearly $800, were stolen from a 1988 Chevrolet Blazer parked in the 5400 block of Springlake Way over the weekend.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered a truck owned by Electro Merchants Service in the 2100 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. while it was parked in the first block of E. 23rd St. Monday and stole tools valued at $700.

THEFT: Northern District -- Cigars valued at nearly $500 were stolen from a truck owned by Swisher International while the vehicle was parked in the 2700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. Monday by two men seen breaking a window.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Valencia Deli in the 2600 block of Miles Ave. of an undisclosed sum of cash Monday.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A 26-year-old resident of the 3800 block of Flowerton Road was in the 1600 block of McCulloh St. Monday when a man snatched the victim's knapsack, which contained books and personal property.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed a resident of the 1100 block of Shields Place of $25 Monday after knocking on the victim's door and demanding money.

Baltimore County

BANK ROBBERY: Cockeysville District -- Two men with handguns robbed the Maryland National Bank at the Green Spring Station in the 2300 block of W. Joppa Road Monday and escaped after a dye pack exploded. Before entering the bank about 11 a.m., the men placed masks over their faces. Someone alerted the bank's employees. While some employees took cover in the drive-through office, the men entered the bank and ordered two employees to put money in a plastic bag. After leaving the bank, the men were headed toward a gold Honda Accord with Pennsylvania tags CA 3292 when the dye pack exploded. The men dropped the bag and drove off, heading south on Falls Road.

ROBBERY: Towson District -- A man with a .410 gauge shotgun with pistol grips robbed one of two maintenance men at the Horn & Horn Cafeteria in the 1100 block of Cromwell Bridge Road Monday. While one victim was sweeping the cafeteria floor around 6 a.m. , the gunman entered and forced the employee to the rear of the building, where he ordered a second maintenance man to join him and his co-worker. The gunman then ordered the men to open the safe. When the maintenance men told the gunman they didn't know the combination, the gunman robbed one of the workers of $65 and fled.
