* Leadership Howard County is accepting applications until June 3 for its next program, designed to acquaint private and public sector leaders with all aspects of life in the county. The cost for the program is $2,400. Call 730-4474 for application and program information.

* Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce is reserving booths for the Business-To-Business Trade Show May 18. Cost for nonmembers is $700 and $400, until April 16. Call 825-6200, ext. 04, for more show details.

* Daniel S. Roher Inc. has been awarded the public relations contract for Solarex, a Frederick-based manufacturer of solar panels and photovoltaic cells.

* Multi-Media Marketing Inc. of Columbia received a contract to create logos and print advertising and marketing campaigns for the Kemplin Group.

* Lisa Sarubin Emmerling Designs, Ellicott City, has been selected to handle advertising and public relations for Bet Teladim.

* Adams Sandler was chosen to handle public relations for Brightwood, a retirement community in Brooklandville.

* Rossi Print & Graphics has opened a full-service print shop on Campbell Boulevard in the White Marsh Business Center.

* NaturaLawn of America established a franchise in Annapolis. The environmentally sensitive lawn care service will be operated by Steve Howell, Tom Waters II and Tom Waters III.

* Jack L. B. Gohn has opened a law practice on Washington Avenue in Towson.

* Atlantic Federal Savings Bank has appointed Anthony J. Agnone and Mark Sissman to the board of directors.

* Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation named Dr. Lawrence J. Pazourek to the board of trustees.

Kudos

* IBM awarded two of four national Mark of Quality awards for 1993 to Baltimore-area companies. They are: VAR Inc., in Baltimore, and Advance Distribution Systems Inc. of Lanham.

* Peggy Mulloy, a senior public information representative with Baltimore Gas and Electric Co., upon successful completion of written and oral examination, was been accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.

* William H. Oliver, a certified public accountant, has received certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

* E. John Schmitz & Sons, printer, won its fourth "Grand Q" best of show award from the Printing Industries of Maryland.
