Del. State tops Coppin, 62-52

RADFORD, VA. — DOVER, Del. -- Jackie Campbell of Delaware State (6-10, 8-18) had game-highs with 23 points and 14 rebounds as it topped visiting Coppin State, 62-52, in a Mid-Eastern Conference womens basketball game yesterday. Delaware State improves to 6-10 in the conference.

August Kenner scored 13 points and Monica Benson 12 in a losing effort against host for Coppin State, which falls to 6-20 overall, 6-20 in the MEAC.

Towson State 78, Radford 60

RADFORD, Va. -- Senior guard Megan Gebbian scored a career-high 24 and grabbed a career high 11 rebounds to lead Towson State (16-10, 11-7) past four-time defending conference champion Radford (15-11, 12-6) in the Big South Conference regular season finale for both teams.

Frederick 61, Baltimore CC 57

Thersa Arnett scored 16 points to lead Frederick (21-4) past Baltimore City Community College (17-8) in the semifinals of Region 20.

Frederick will play Potomac State in the finals today at 3 p.m. at Frederick.
