DOUBLE SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Two men were wounded, one critically, when they were shot early today in the 1600 block of Carswell St. near Clifton Park. Both victims were taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where one was treated for gunshot wounds to the head and stomach and the other for wounds to a leg that severed an artery. Both were listed in serious condition. Police are holding a suspect.

ROBBERY/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man and charged him with robbing a resident of the 1900 block of Park Ave. of her purse as she walked in the 2700 block of W. North Ave. Thursday. Held at the station pending a bail hearing was Charles Victor Stewart, 25, of the 1800 block of N. Monroe St.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Three men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 2900 block of Orleans St. of $150 in the 2000 block of W. Baltimore St. Thursday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Oakford Ave. was in the 4600 block of Pall Mall Road Thursday when two men robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $100, at knifepoint.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 700 block of Belle Terrace after breaking a window Thursday and stole a compact disc player, leather coat, TV and other items, all valued at more than $700.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two bikes and tools, all valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen from a garage in the 5700 block of Berkeley Ave. between Feb. 27 and yesterday.

Baltimore County

STOLEN CAR: Parkville Precinct -- A 1992 Isuzu Sidekick with Maryland tags 550381M and valued at $13,000 was stolen from Hillcrest and Old Harford roads between Wednesday and Thursday.

BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered an apartment in the 1600 block of Four Georges Court through the front door Thursday and stole a 20-inch TV, VCR and a cassette radio, all valued at $910.


THEFT: Bel Air -- Someone entered a 1990 Toyota parked in the 800 block of Broadway Ave. Thursday and stole a cellular telephone valued at $700.
