* Hampstead: Firefighters from the Hampstead and Reese stations and the Arcadia station in Baltimore County responded to a chimney fire in the 200 block of Winterberry Lane at 12:09 a.m. Wednesday. Units were out for 75 minutes.

Firefighters from the Hampstead station assisted Baltimore County when a fire alarm sounded in a building in the 18000 block of Falls Road at 7:49 p.m. Tuesday. They were out for 53 minutes.

* Lineboro: Lineboro firefighters assisted York County, Pa., companies at a chimney fire in a house in the 2600 block of Sinsheim Road at 9:04 p.m. Tuesday. They were out for 30 minutes.

Firefighters from the Lineboro station assisted Baltimore County firefighters in extinguishing a chimney fire in a house in the 21000 block of Gunpowder Road at 6:36 p.m. Tuesday. Lineboro Chief John Krebs said the chimney was clogged. The companies were out for an hour and 45 minutes. There was no extension of fire into the building.
