Johns Hopkins will make its fifth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament, playing at Lebanon Valley on Saturday in the second round.

The Blue Jays (20-6, 10-3 in the Centennial Conference) received the third seed in the Middle Atlantic Region and a first-round bye in the 40-team field.

Lebanon Valley (23-4) won the Middle Atlantic Conference championship on Saturday and earned the second seed in the region, so it will play host to Hopkins at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Annville, Pa.

Last season the Flying Dutchmen knocked the Blue Jays out of the NCAA tournament in a first-round game held in Baltimore. Hopkins shot just 35 percent from the field and was hurt by foul trouble inside in the 53-49 loss. Lebanon Valley held a 34-18 rebounding advantage.

Hopkins also placed two players on the All-Middle Atlantic District second team: seniors Luke Busby (15.6 points) and Frank Grzywacz (15.5 points, 6.9 rebounds).

Busby made the All-Centennial Conference first team, and Grzywacz and teammate Lou Sabad (13.2 points, 7.3 rebounds) were selected to the second team.
