Man demands money, leaves empty-handed

March 01, 1994

A man who demanded money from a teller at a Glen Burnie bank Friday walked out after the teller told him she did not have the denominations that he wanted, county police said yesterday.

According to the police report, the man walked into Carrollton Bank in the 400 block of Crain Highway at 6:39 p.m. and demanded that the teller give him $50 and $100 bills.

When the teller told him she did not have any of those bills, he told her again to give them to him and "no one would get hurt," police said.

When the teller repeated that she did not have any, the man walked out of the bank.
