Anne Arundel takes title, 76-64

Debbie Dadds (Northeast) scored a game-high 25 points and Lindee Sisk (Southern-AA) added 17, lifting Anne Arundel Community College to a 76-64 victory over Frederick Community College in the championship game of the Maryland JuCo tournament yesterday at Dundalk Community College.

Dadds was named the tournament's MVP, joining Sisk and teammate Denise Perrone (Chesapeake-AA) on the all-tournament team.

Laeisha Cooper scored 23 and Theresa Arnett 13 for Frederick. Both were also named to the all-tournament team.

Loyola 77, Canisius 47

Patty Stoffey scored 23 and had nine rebounds, leading host Loyola (15-10, 12-2) past Canisius (9-16, 3-10) in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. Patty Taylor added 16 and a game-high 12 rebounds for Loyola, which outscored Canisius 40-18 in the second half.

Heather Fiore led Canisius with 10 points and three rebounds.
