Atlanta Braves -- Agreed to terms with P Mark Wohlers on a one-year contract.

Boston Red Sox -- Agreed to terms with P Nate Minchey and P Cory Bailey on one-year contracts. Announced a one-year agreement to have their Florida State League affiliate play at Ed Smith Stadium in Sarasota.

California Angels -- Signed P Mark Langston to a three-year contract extension through the 1997 season. Signed P Lee Guetterman to a minor-league contract. Hired Tom Romenesko as a professional scouting supervisor.

Cincinnati Reds -- Invited C Barry Lyons to training camp as a nonroster player.

Detroit Tigers -- Agreed to terms with 3B Scott Livingstone and P John Doherty on one-year contracts.

Los Angeles Dodgers -- Agreed to terms with 1B Eric Karros on a three-year contract.

Montreal Expos -- Agreed to terms with P Reid Cornellus, P Brian Looney, P Bill Risley, P Jeff Shaw, OF John Vander Wal and OF Tyrone Woods on one-year contracts.

Philadelphia Phillies -- Agreed to terms with C Todd Pratt on a one-year contract.

Texas Rangers -- Agreed to terms with IF Jeff Frye and OF Donald Harris on one-year contracts. Invited free-agent SS Alfredo Griffin to training camp as a nonroster player.

Basketball

NBA -- Fined Indiana Pacers F Reggie Miller and Orlando Magic G Anthony Bowie $5,000 for fighting and Orlando G Scott Skiles $2,500 for leaving the bench during the fight in a game Feb. 23.

Atlanta Hawks -- Traded F Dominique Wilkins and a No. 1 draft pick in 1994 or 1995 to the Los Angeles Clippers for F Danny Manning.

Dallas Mavericks -- Signed F Lorenzo Williams to a second

10-day contract.

Los Angeles Lakers -- Placed F Antonio Harvey on the injured list.

Milwaukee Bucks -- Traded F/C Frank Brickowski to the Charlotte Hornets for C Mike Gminski and a conditional 1996 first-round pick. Traded C Dan Schayes to the Los Angeles Lakers for a conditional second-round draft pick in 1995.

Indiana Pacers -- Activated G Pooh Richardson from the injured list. Placed C/F Scott Haskin on the injured list.

Utah Jazz -- Traded G Jeff Malone to the Philadelphia 76ers for G Jeff Hornacek and G Sean Green.

Atlantic 10 Conference -- Announced the resignation of commissioner Ron Bertovich, effective April 15, to become vice president and general manager of the Empire Sports Network.

Franklin & Marshall -- Named Bob Clites softball coach and Alan Koth women's tennis coach.

Maine -- Suspended athletic director Michael Ploszek for one week without pay after school announced additional NCAA compliance violations involving ineligible players had competed on five Maine teams.

Shepherd -- Senior G Katie Laidley (Severna Park), the team's leading scorer, and junior forward Stephanie Lazor (Northeast), the second leading scorer, were named honorable-mention selections to the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic all-conference team.

Old Dominion -- Named Lorraine Hochella women's cross

country coach.

Texas A&M -- Accepted an invitation to join the Big Eight Conference, effective at the beginning of the 1996 football season.

Football

Atlanta Falcons -- Signed OL Roman Fortin to a two-year contract. Named Frank Gansz and Darrel "Mouse" Davis

Los Angeles Rams -- Announced the resignation of special teams coach Howard Tippett.
