Owls-Cavs makeups tonight

Inclement weather yesterday morning led to the postponement of the pivotal South Carroll-Westminster boys and girls basketball games last night.

Both will be made up tonight.

The girls will play at Westminster and the boys at South Carroll. Both will start at 7 p.m.

The girls game will decide the Carroll County title. Both teams are4-0. South Carroll improved to 13-5 overall Tuesday with a 69-45 win over Frederick. Westminster is 12-5.

The Westminster boys (8-11 overall, 4-1 in the county) can clinch the county title with another win over South Carroll (9-9, 3-1).

The Owls handed the Cavs their first county loss Monday, 60-57, in overtime.

South Carroll must beat Westminster and then Liberty tomorrow to win the title outright.
