Judge speaks to youth for Black History Month

Court of Appeals Judge Robert M. Bell will speak to a group of youngsters at the Lloyd Keaser Center on 5757 Bell Grove Road at 6:30 p.m. Monday as part of Black History Month.

The program is sponsored by the Pumphrey Achievers. The youths are in a 10-week family preservation program aimed at steering them away from drugs by boosting their self-esteem through tutoring to strengthen their reading, writing and math skills, and activities such as field trips.
