Noise, parking top agenda of BWI neighbors

Noise problems and plans for a new Amtrak parking garage are among the items to be discussed at tonight's meeting of the Baltimore/Washington International Airport Neighbors Committee.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. in the Maryland Aviation Administration Assembly Room on the third floor of the terminal building.

Air carriers' progress toward meeting national noise standards will be updated. Also scheduled is a discussion of the certified airport noise zone.

Plans for a new parking garage to relieve congestion at the Amtrak/MARC station are also on the agenda.

The committee will also hear a report on tree cutting along Dorsey Road to meet fire protection standards.
