Francis Scott Key High makes '94 prom promise

February 22, 1994

Francis Scott Key High School recently announced its participation in the 1994 Prom Promise Program.

The program uses positive peer pressure to encourage students not to use alcohol and drugs on prom night. Student committees will organize school events that emphasize the dangers of alcohol and drugs, and encourage other students to sign a pledge promising not to use either on prom night.

The schools with the most original events and the highest percentage of students who sign up are eligible for prizes and cash awards.
