Ice-dancing hot shots or 'Hot Shots!'

It's two days, and counting, until the first Olympics competition between Those Two. Meanwhile, tonight's ice-skating action features pairs more suited to one another -- specifically, finals in ice dancing. It's the evening's highlight, mostly because it's an evening otherwise devoid of highlights.

* "The 1994 Winter Olympic Games" (1-6 p.m., 8-11:30 p.m., WBAL, Channel 11) -- Remember, even though it's a weekday, CBS will be providing daytime action. The way the ratings for these Olympics are turning out, it's a wonder CBS doesn't turn itself into the Columbia Bobsledding System. CBS.

* "Hot Shots!" (8-10 p.m., WBFF, Channel 45) -- Two nights ago, ABC presented the skillionth repeat of "Airplane!" Tonight, from the same filmmakers, Fox is presenting the broadcasting

premiere of "Hot Shots!" -- another goofy spoof with an exclamation mark in its title! Fox.

* "Blossom" (8:30-9 p.m., WMAR, Channel 2) -- Second of two parts. I watched last week's opening installment of this modern-day "Beach Blanket Bingo" satire, which had Mayim Bialik playing several roles -- all of them rather badly. Stay away from part two, Daddy-o. NBC.

* "Baby Brokers" (9-11 p.m., WMAR, Channel 2) -- Cybill Shepherd has top billing in this new telemovie, but the scene-stealer is Nina Siemaszko, who spends most of the movie getting more and more pregnant -- as part of a baby-adoption con in which Shepherd plays one of many victims. Since starring in the overtly sexy "Wild Orchid 2: Two Shades of Blue" and an equally steamy episode of "Red Shoe Diaries," Siemaszko has taken on some change-of-pace roles, playing a bookworm student on "Tales From the Crypt," and now a calculating con artist. NBC.

* "Look Who's Talking Too" (9-11 p.m., WJZ, Channel 13) -- Look who's not watching, either. ABC.

* "Late Show With David Letterman" (midnight-1 a.m., WNUV, Channel 54 -- Letterman's musical guest tonight is a group called UB40. What a coincidence. IB42.

* "National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon 1" (8-9:25 p.m., SHO) -- Another movie spoof premiere -- this time on cable.
