THEFT: Central District -- Someone entered a car parked at Baltimore and Commerce streets Wednesday and stole two stereo speakers.

BURGLARY: Central District -- An aluminum ladder and a car jack, all valued at $300, were stolen from a house in the 1400 block of Park Ave. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Central District -- An out-of-town resident was walking in the 300 block of Light St. early yesterday morning when a gunman approached her from behind and demanded her money. When the woman attempted to spray the man with a chemical device used for self-protection, the man threatened to shoot her. The gunman then robbed the woman of $20 and escaped.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5500 block of Reisterstown Road was in the 3500 block of Springdale Ave. early yesterday morning when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $10 before the men drove off in a car.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A man who implied he had a gun robbed D'Lynn's in the 3800 block of Forest Park Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- While the cashier's booth at the Senator Theater in the 5900 block of York Road was left unattended for a few minutes Tuesday night, someone broke the window, entered and stole $60O.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two VCRs, four leather coats, four watches, eight gold rings, $100 and 15 cassette tapes, all valued at more than $3,000, were stolen from an apartment in the 2200 block of St. Paul St. Wednesday by someone who entered with a key.

SCHOOL BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered Winston Elementary school in the 1100 block of Winston Ave. through a ground-level window Wednesday but fled when police arrived on the scene. Left behind was a bag containing school property.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Computer equipment of pTC unknown value was stolen from H & R Block in the 5400 block of York Road Tuesday or Wednesday by someone who entered after breaking a front window.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1993 Mazda MX with Maryland tags 092ASG was stolen from the 2400 block of Ken Oak Road Tuesday or Wednesday.

THEFT: Northern District -- Stereo equipment valued at more than $1,200 was stolen from a house in the 600 block of Homestead St. by someone who was visiting the victim over the weekend.

Baltimore County

BANK ROBBERY: Parkville District -- A black man between 30 and 40, over 6 feet tall, weighing more than 200 pounds and wearing a black hat, black shirt and green army pants robbed the First National Bank in the 7900 block of Harford Road of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday before driving away in a light blue Dodge. The unarmed man gave a teller a note demanding money.
