* Walter Judd, 95, a Republican who represented Minnesota's 5th District, the city of Minneapolis, in Congress from 1943 to 1962, died of cancer Sunday. He served two terms as a Congregational Church missionary to China in the 1920s and 1930s. He was a delegate to the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1957 and delivered the keynote address at the 1960 Republican national convention.
