BALTIMORE CITY

* BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1100 block of Quantril Way through a window Sunday and stole a 7-month-old pit bull valued at $400.

* THEFT: Northeastern District -- A telephone and jewelry valued at more than $2,300 were stolen from a car parked in the 2400 block of E. Cold Spring Lane last weekend.

* DRUG SHOOTING: Western District -- A resident of the 2500 block of W. Lafayette Ave. was in the 2300 block of Winchester St. Sunday night when a gunman shot him in the throat. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition. Police said several small plastic bags containing narcotics were found under the victim.

* BURGLARY: Western District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Windsor Ave. through the back door between Thursday and Saturday and stole a nickel-plated .25-caliber handgun with imitation pearl grips, 80 silver dollars, a compact disc player, stereo speakers, a VCR, a 13-inch TV with VCR and clothing valued at nearly $2,500.

* ASSAULT/ARREST: Northern District -- A resident of the 300 block of Hornel St. was in the 1600 block of Kelly Ave. Sunday when a man cut him on the right ear and shoulder with a knife. A suspect was arrested.

* CUTTING/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who stabbed another during an incident at their home in the 2600 block of Park Heights Terrace Monday. The victim's right shoulder was injured. The suspect was being held at the police station pending charges.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A woman was about to leave the Crown Market in the 2400 block of St. Paul St. Monday without paying for a bottle of wine when an employee tried to stop her. The women threatened the employee with a knife before fleeing.

* RAPE: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man who raped a woman in the 4100 block of Calloway Ave. Monday night. The woman was in the 3700 block of W. Cold Spring Lane about 8 p.m. when a man threatened her and ordered her into his car. After driving around for several minutes, the man drove to Calloway Avenue and raped the woman in the car. After being released, the woman was treated at an area hospital.
