FIRE

* Silver Run: Pleasant Valley responded for a fire alarm in the 400 block of Leppo Road at 1:37 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 51 minutes.

* Smallwood: Gamber, Westminster and Winfield responded for a chimney fire in the 2800 block of Old Washington Road at 10:46 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 52 minutes.

* Westminster: Westminster and Reese responded for a smoke detector sounding at Carroll County General Hospital on Memorial Drive at 4:05 p.m. Friday. Units were out for four minutes.

Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester responded for a furnace fire in the 200 block of E. Main St. at 9:20 p.m. Thursday night. Units were out for 28 minutes.

Westminster, Reese, Pleasant Valley and Manchester responded for a fire on the roof of the old Carroll Theater building on Main Street at 6:54 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 54 minutes.

POLICE

* Westminster: A New Windsor resident told city police Tuesday a stereo was stolen from her car while it was parked on Woodward Road. Loss is estimated at about $250.
