* Donald Judd, 65, one of the foremost American postwar artists and a major figure in the Minimal Art movement, died Saturday in New York City of lymphoma. Mr. Judd was an artist of extreme self-confidence who exercised formidable intelligence on many fronts. In the late 1950s and early 1960s, his reviews in Arts magazine established him as a rigorous advocate of new art.
