2 arrested in drug raid crack cocaine, cash seized

Westminster police seized 52 vials of crack cocaine and arrested two men during a raid in the first block of Charles Street on Wednesday night.

Police said the raid was the result of an investigation into illegal drug activity in the Westminster area.

Andrew F. Taylor, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia. He was being held yesterday on $100,000 bond at the county detention center.

Timothy Tyrone Costley, 31, of Westminster was charged with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance, according to District Court documents.

Investigators said the crack cocaine had a street value of $2,080. Police also confiscated $350 cash in the raid.
