POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 3500 block of St. John's Lane: A hair dryer and curling iron were missing Wednesday morning from a business where the front door was found unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry.

9500 block of Old Annapolis Road: An Owings Mills woman, Jennifer Ann Kindbom, 27, was arrested Wednesday and charged with prescription fraud at Dorsey Hall Pharmacy. Police said she was passing forged prescriptions.

U.S. 40 and U.S. 29: Several items with a total value of $565 were stolen from a car in the parking lot at O'Donnell Isuzu between Jan. 28 and Feb. 8. There were no signs of forced entry and no signs of attempted car theft. The missing items are a 140-piece tool kit, an emergency car kit, a black flashlight, a knee brace and a bag and parts for a knee brace, an air pressure gauge, and $20 in cash.

9200 block of Baltimore National Pike: A small foreign car was damaged between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday when it was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Giant parking lot at Chatham Mall.
