SMU receivers coach to join Terps staff

February 09, 1994

Vincent White, receivers coach at Southern Methodist University, will take the same position with Maryland coach Mark Duffner's staff.

White, a 1984 Stanford graduate, was an offensive coordinator in the run-and-shoot offense at Pacific, Tennessee-Martin and Oregon Tech before moving to SMU this past season, when the Mustangs had four receivers with 30 or more catches.

White led the nation in receptions at Stanford in 1982.
