February 08, 1994

Four men beat and robbed a Rumblefish waiter of $700 shortly after he left work Sunday morning, county police reported.

Kenneth Robert Martin, 27, was leaving the nightclub in the 7900 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. at 3:15 a.m. when four men standing outside the Wyman Park Federal Bank across the street began yelling at him, police said.

The men walked over to him and threatened him with handguns. One of them hit Mr. Martin on his head with what the victim thought was a gun.

Mr. Martin blacked out. When he awoke, he was on the ground next to a trash bin behind the bank, police said. His wallet and other property was missing.

Mr. Martin of the 200 block of Hollywood Court in Glen Burnie was taken to North Arundel Hospital, where he was treated and released.
